Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is excited to announce that in partnership with Finucane & Smith, the property is hosting the internationally acclaimed avant garde theatre company’s return to the heart of the city with FUTURE. JOY. CLUB. – a sultry, decadent celebration of golden era burlesque and variety vanguard. The show will reside in the lush, mirrored ballroom of Sofitel Melbourne On Collins from 7 July – 7 August 2022.
Led by gothic glamazon Moira Finucane, The FUTURE. JOY. CLUB. features the very best of Australia’s exquisite and explosive underground stars. Together, Finucane & Smith and Sofitel Melbourne On Collins have created a nightclub at the Paris end of Collins Street that you’ll never want to leave.
The hauntingly beautiful voices of indie pop star Sophie Koh, Ngarluma jazz blues legend Lois Olney and Melbourne’s own transcendent songstress Mama Alto will envelop the club. Glittering boylesque classically trained Indian dancer Govind Pillai, lightning rod burlesque artist Jazida, eye popping club star Iva Rosebud and Cameroon/Parisian hip hop star Simon Abbe will lay their talents bare within velvety surrounds.
To celebrate, Sofitel Melbourne On Collins has launched two exclusive ‘Stay and Show’ packages, available every night of the five-week season, which runs Thursday through Sunday.
The Deluxe Package provides Catwalk Deluxe table tickets for two to FUTURE. JOY. CLUB. and overnight accommodation at Sofitel Melbourne On Collins in a Superior King Room for $438 twin share.
In addition, the Supreme Package features Supreme Joy table tickets to the show for two, alongside a complimentary cocktail each and overnight accommodation in a Luxury Corner King Room, all for $458 twin share. Shows will take place at 7PM Thursday and Friday, 7PM and 9.30PM on Saturday and 5.30PM on Sunday.
