01.09.2020Notice to members of change of auditors

The Committee for Melbourne (CfM) would like to notify its members that CfM has received approval from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission to change its auditor.

As a result, CfM has now accepted the resignation of Grant Thornton and the consent of RSM as its appointment as the new company auditor.

In accordance with section 327c of the Corporations ACT 2001, a resolution will be placed at the November 2020 Annual General meeting to ratify the appointment of RSM as CfM’s auditor.

The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Grant Thornton for their assistance and professional service to CfM over the past 12 years.
