18.02.2021New member announcement – Intelematics
Intelematics, 100 percent owned by RACV, pioneered the introduction of telematics and connected vehicle services by supporting vehicle manufacturer programs. Programs included car monitoring systems that even 15 years ago, could detect accidents. Being at the forefront of technology, Intelematics implemented scalable and reliable solutions and over many years has earned the trust of some of the world’s most respected automotive brands.
Why Intelematics chose to join the Committee for Melbourne?
During 2020 and the uncertainty felt within the community it became evident that there was a place for Intelematics to support not only our customers, but the health and sustainability of the broader community.
The Committee for Melbourne’s goals of shaping Melbourne’s future fully aligns with our vision of contributing to Australian cities’ urban development and sustainability programs, with mobility data, analytics and connected solutions.
We transform data from devices, vehicles and other sources into real-time services for proactive and predictive solutions, which can directly support the Committee’s Transport Taskforce and advocacy programs such as enhancing liveability and smart infrastructure.
As innovation continues to increase, the technology, tools and actionable insights that Intelematics can provide will support the Committee for Melbourne to make confident, data-based decisions. We look forward to our participation in the Committee and connecting with other leaders in the local community to bring Melbourne back to life.
