Australian Sports Technologies Network (ASTN) is the Melbourne-headquartered not-for-profit governing body for sports technology, sports digital and sports innovation in Australia.

ASTN represents the interests of 500+ sports innovation companies across Australia and the $1.2 billion Australian sports technology industry. ASTN estimates the sports technology industry represents over 15,000 jobs in Australia – half of which are based in Melbourne. ASTN is developing the Australian sports tech ecosystem to now be one of the top six ecosystems in the world alongside the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada and Israel, with a vision to be world number one by 2032.

ASTN has joined the Committee as a result of a shared vision to shape Melbourne’s future and position the city as a world leader by empowering future job creators, encouraging new partnerships and entrepreneurial talent to Melbourne, and supporting the development of exciting innovations.
