Committee for Melbourne is excited to announce a partnership with leading Australian lodging owner-operators The Ascott Limited, Australia – and its diverse portfolio of accommodation brands including Quest Apartment Hotels, Citadines, Oakwood, lyf and Somerset – to welcome and acknowledge the contribution of international students to Melbourne.

A bumper welcome weekend is planned at Fed Square on the first weekend in March 2024 followed by a weeklong series of activations and activities over multiple sites across Melbourne.

Melbourne International Student Week 2024 will bring together students studying in Melbourne, showcasing our great city. And, with the recent announcement of Melbourne as the 4th best international student city, this is an important opportunity to celebrate international students and help them get to know this incredible city.

International students are a critical part of the social, cultural and economic fabric of Melbourne and all Melburnians are invited to join in the celebration at Fed Square in March 2024.
