29.06.2020Future Focus Group 2020-2021 Program

The Future Focus Group 2020-2021 Program project teams presented their proposals to a Project Review Panel that was run virtually last week, with MC and Moderator Matt Gaffney.  Jacqui Banks from Arcadis, Julia Langdon from EY and Jacqui Savage from MedCorp Technologies (and Committee for Melbourne Board member) generously made time to be on the Panel. Jacqui, Julia and Jacqui asked insightful questions, provided valued perspectives and offered focused introductions.

Armed with the guidance from the Project Review Panel, the Project Teams will now further refine their thinking on, and articulation of, their proposed FFG Projects ahead of obtaining formal Committee approval to proceed in the coming weeks.  The Project Teams were asked to submit FFG Projects that aligned to one or more of the Committee’s Pillars of Future Economy, Liveability, Infrastructure and Urban Optimisation. All three proposed FFG Projects have a Liveability element, two also have a Future Economy element and the third an Infrastructure element.

Keep an eye out for the details of the next three FFG Projects in an upcoming edition of Communiqué. They may request some from Communiqué readers in due course.
