We were delighted to see that Minister Jaala Pulford, Minister for Employment; Innovation, Medical Research, Digital Economy; Small Business and Resources has announced the Digital Innovation Festival 2022 will run from 24th August – 7th September, 2022.

The Digital Innovation Festival is delivered by the Victorian Government and supported by the Committee for Melbourne and our Victorian Committees for Cities and Regions network, developing a series of activities under the festival umbrella.

This Victorian tech festival, #DIF2022 takes a unique approach to raising awareness and engagement with technology-driven innovation across the economy and community.

The Committee is proud to be supporting the festival by showcasing entrepreneurship, building digital capacity, and developing Victoria’s technology culture and innovation ecosystem.

Committee members will again work with the festival organisers to help develop the hybrid program of online and in-person events, engaging our members and stakeholders on the latest IT trends and innovations.

For the last Festival, the Committee for Melbourne and member Public Libraries Victoria hosted a Digital Inclusion and Innovation Forum for libraries across the State. We also held a series of ministerial and corporate forums highlighting the focus on digital capability with the support of our members NBN Co And Deloitte.
