06.03.2024Celebrating Melbourne International Student Week at Fed Square

What an amazing weekend celebration!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for Melbourne International Student Week at Fed Square this weekend. It was fantastic to see both familiar faces and newcomers enjoy all the fun activities we had lined up.

With captivating live performances and DJ sets to KPOP, Bollywood, African drumming and salsa workshops, photo booths, giveaways and games, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

This year’s Melbourne International Student Week was a resounding success, with thousands of people soaking up the atmosphere – this serves as a reminder of just how diverse Melbourne is.

We’d like to thank our Principal Partner Ascott Australia, major partners City of Melbourne and Study Melbourne, and event partners Deakin University, La Trobe University, RMIT University, University of Melbourne, Metro Trains Melbourne, Monash University, Victoria University and Yarra Trams for their contributions.

And of course none of this would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers, the talent and passion of the performers, and to those who supported us behind the scenes.

There is a great line up of activities for international students until the 8th March – so check the website to see if there’s an event for you at misw.org.au

We look forward to celebrating with you again in the future!
