Planning for Melbourne’s precinct development and housing needs

The Committee’s recently released 2022 Benchmarking Melbourne Report highlights that Melbourne is ranked the world’s 6th most unaffordable English-speaking metropolis for buying a home. The report also indicates that while Melbourne continues to be known for its liveability and cultural attractiveness, a ‘tale of two cities’ exists, meaning Melburnians’ experience of the city may differ depending on where they live and work.

A special thanks to our members for their contributions to a great discussion, Jonathan Spear, CEO, Infrastructure Victoria for his keynote address, and Belinda Coates, Director, Clients & Strategy, Slattery, for facilitating the conversation.

This event is part of an ongoing dialogue between the Committee and our members, and built on the release of the Committee’s Delivering Affordable Housing Submission, on the Victorian Government’s proposed 10-year social and affordable housing strategy

Kind Regards,

Committee for Melbourne and Event Partner, Slattery.
