Meet the Shadow Minister Mr. Andrew Giles MP

Committee for Melbourne, in collaboration with Arup, invites you to attend this special Meet the Shadow Minister event with Mr. Andrew Giles MP, Shadow Minister for Cities and Urban Infrastructure, Multicultural Affairs & Assisting for Immigration and Citizenship.

In 2013, Andrew was elected Member for Scullin, Victoria, and sat on the standing committee for Environment, Indigenous Affairs and the Privileges and Members’ Interests Committee. Andrew is currently the Shadow Minister for Cities and Urban Infrastructure.

Kindly hosted by Committee Foundation Member, Arup, Mr. Giles will discuss the importance of Cities to the post-COVID-19 economic recovery, including the role of Central Business Districts to economic growth. He will outline a vision for more resilient cities that will be better equipped to withstand future shocks.

This will be followed by a panel of experts who will have a question and answer session with the Shadow Minister.
