Meet the Minister, Mr Martin Foley MP

Mr Martin Foley MP was elected to the Victorian Legislative Assembly in 2007 as a Labor Party member, representing Albert Park.

With the Health, Ambulance Services and Equality portfolios, Minister Foley has played a crucial role in the government’s response to COVID-19 and is working to deliver a world-class health system.

Special thanks to Minister Foley who discussed his vision for Victoria’s healthcare system, including how the government intends to modernise public hospitals, support innovation and technology deployment to improve health outcomes and develop a pipeline of skilled health professionals.

Minister Foley’s address followed the release of the Committee’s 2022 Benchmarking Melbourne Report, which assessed Melbourne’s overall performance against 19 peer cities.
