Meet the Minister, Mr Andrew Giles MP

Shadow Minister Giles was elected as Member for Scullin in 2013. His policy expertise includes cities development, climate change and the future of work, amongst other important issues.

On Tuesday, 5 April, as Federal Shadow Minister for Cities and Urban Infrastructure, Mr Giles along with members discussed his vision for more resilient Australian cities that can withstand future shocks, and the changing nature of cities.

Shadow Minister Giles’ commented that Melbourne’s trajectory will be timely after the release of the Committee’s Benchmarking Melbourne 2022 Report, which compares Melbourne’s performance with 19 peer cities.
