Committee for Melbourne

Selection Process

What you need to know about the Future Focus Group nomination process.

(All dates refer to the year prior to the program commencing.)

  • Committee for Melbourne member companies only may nominate candidates for the program.
  • Nominations open mid-July.
  • Nominations close end of August.
  • Offers made end of September.

The Future Focus Group Manager ensures that all member companies have the relevant information about the program and are aware of the type of candidate preferred, as well as the requirements for the candidate and the member company.

Nomination is based on the organisation’s own internal selection processes. Member companies may nominate more than one candidate. In most cases the nomination will be approved by the Chairman and Manager of the Future Focus Group. If there are concerns with an application the Manager will arrange a meeting with the member company representative.

If you have any questions about the nomination process and expectations, please contact Mr David Gould, Future Focus Group Manager.
