For me, Melbourne is a lifestyle destination of choice.

Having originally relocated to Melbourne with my wife some seven years ago in pursuit of career opportunities, it is the additional benefits Melbourne offers that has kept us here.

In recent years I have lived, visited and worked in a number of major (and minor) cities around the world and I can say without exception I have enjoyed them all – each for different reasons. However, for me, no other city has offered the full suite of experiences that Melbourne offers.

So what is it that Melbourne offers?

Key themes that spring to mind include, easy access, diverse career opportunities, international events (Australian Open Tennis, Grand Prix, Comedy festival, etc.), cultural diversity, sports nuts, year-round social calendar, crowds that will support anything, a ‘foodie’ culture, beaches, forests, walking and cycling tracks, the arts, diverse shopping opportunities and lifestyle destination of choice.
