Cct members briefing More than 170 organisations around Victoria are Committee for Melbourne members – a unique, influential group of Melbourne leaders from business, government, academic and community organisations.

Four reasons to join the Committee for Melbourne

1. LEADERSHIP

Our members care passionately about the future of Melbourne. They contribute their expertise and resources for the benefit of the community. Among its duties, the Committee’s Executive Board generously gives its valuable time and skills to lead the Committee’s agenda and to oversee the work of the Committee’s Secretariat and taskforces.

2. INSIGHT

We inform our members on issues of vital importance to our city’s liveability and economic prosperity by facilitating opportunities for the exchange of information and ideas. Because of our members’ contribution and energy, the Committee is able to look deeply into the strategic issues impacting Melbourne’s future.

3. VOICE

We bring together members and other leaders from all sectors to generate debate on key issues. We use our collective voice to influence positive outcomes at all levels. If the issue is important to Melbourne and our members, we will initiate debate and begin conversations with other leaders at all sectors.

4. RELATIONSHIP

We provide opportunities to forge new relationships; deepen existing relationships and connect with other stakeholders on key issues. Whether it is an intimate luncheon or a taskforce workshop, our members have many opportunities throughout the year to engage with each other at a variety of events.
