Benefits and Services
Events
Our events feature Melbourne’s most influential figures speaking on issues facing Melbourne. Members also receive invitations to selected Committee for Melbourne events, including Melbourne Forums and the Committee’s Annual Dinner.
News
Members receive an electronic newsletter providing updates on Future Focus Group projects and events, as well as Committee for Melbourne news and events.
Find-a-Friend
Members who lose touch with fellow alumni can request access to their up-to-date details via the Future Focus Group Manager.
Projects
Members can stay connected with the Melbourne community and continue to make a positive and tangible contribution to the city by becoming involved in projects run by Future Focus Group, the Committee for Melbourne and members.
Board Positions
Members’ skills are listed in the Skills Bank, a database the Committee’s Chief Executive Officer draws on when nominating alumni for board positions of organisations engaged with the Committee.
Mentoring
Members are occasionally invited to mentor Future Focus Group participants and contribute to Future Focus Group inductions, project presentations and graduations.
