The Metropolitan Planning Authority (MPA) is a State Government statutory authority that reports to the Minister for Planning. It is the MPA’s main task to manage Melbourne’s growth in key precincts and enhance Victoria’s liveability. This requires vision and long-term planning, to ensure Victorians have equitable access to employment, public transport, services, attractive public space and affordable housing. The MPA was founded in 2006 to plan Melbourne’s new suburbs in our growth corridors including the middle and inner suburbs. Working closely with councils, government departments and government agencies, the MPA’s program focuses on land use and infrastructure planning for strategically important precincts.

With bulk water from Melbourne Water mostly harvested from protected mountain catchments and the responsibility for taking away sewage for treatment, Yarra Valley Water practices sustainable water usage to produce recycled water for use in new homes, the irrigation of sportsfields or open space. Yarra Valley Water owns and maintains over 9,000 kms of water mains and over 9,000 kms of sewer mains.
For 30 years, Ardoch has been working to address the issue of educational disadvantage. Its mission is to increase the engagement, build the aspirations and enhance the learning outcomes of children in disadvantaged communities by mobilising volunteers and connecting partners to build the capacity of schools and early years in these communities and advocating for, and influencing policy change to reduce inequity in education. Our programs focus on literacy, STEM and activities that aim to broaden the horizon and connections for students at the schools and early years centres we work with. With 93 percent of its revenue coming from non-government sources and with just a small staff team of 19, partnerships are central to Ardoch’s work and impact. Ardoch works with over 100 partner education sites, mobilises over 1700 volunteers from communities and workplaces and supports more than 15,000 children and young people through its programs.

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is the oldest public art museum in Australia. OMA media display members advertise third party (advertising in which the advertisement is not associated with the premises) products on both digital and static signs across a variety of OOH formats and locations; airports, bicycle stations, billboards, buses, bus stations, cafes, doctors’ surgeries, free-standing advertisement panels, medical centres, office buildings and lifts, pedestrian bridges, railway stations, shopping centres, trains, trams, universities and street furniture (bus/tram shelters, public toilets, telephone booths and kiosks). OOH advertising is always on, delivering messages 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is ubiquitous, innovative, entertaining and effective and is one of the ways people can interact with their cities and communities.
The Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is one of the world’s leading botanic gardens. The Gardens play a prominent role in the conservation of plants through biodiversity research, programs to protect rare and threatened plants, and the study of habitats. In Victoria the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) works in partnership with a number of community health organisations across the State to improve the health and well-being of rural communities and ensure all Victorians have the choice to access essential primary health care services. Each year RFDS comes into contact with over 21,000 patients throughout Victoria, this includes primary health care transport by air or on the road. In addition to non-emergency patient transport services being provided on behalf of Ambulance Victoria out of 13 bases located around Victoria, this service is also supported by aircraft capability at Essendon Airport.

The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research is Australia’s oldest medical research institute having celebrated its centenary in 2015. The institute is home to approximately 750 researchers who are working to understand, prevent and treat diseases including: cancers, particularly blood, breast, bowel, lung and ovarian cancers; immune disorders such as type 1 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and coeliac disease; and infectious diseases such as HIV and malaria. We are committed to making discoveries that will bring real benefits to the community on a global scale and more than 100 national and international clinical trials are underway originating from research undertaken at the institute. The institute has strong links with The University of Melbourne and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, and our researchers work collaboratively with major Victorian hospitals as well as other health facilities throughout Australia and internationally.
Victorian Opera is committed to the accessibility of opera through tactile tours, audio described and relaxed performances. In just ten years, over 300,000 audience members have experienced a performance with Victorian Opera – over 20,000 of those attending regional performances. Over 500 young singers have been inspired through their youth opera program and some of the finest singers from Australia and around the world have been recruited.

Youth Projects is a one stop shop that offers comprehensive support within the one organisation including medical centre, apprenticeships, training, employment service, alcohol and drug counselling, HIV/AIDS and blood borne virus education and awareness, mental health counselling, drink drive assessments, in school support, allied health services.
